PAID FaceBook: FaceBook To Charge $1.99 Per Month From 1 Jan 2015

The New Year gift from FaceBook:-
From January 1st of 2015, Facebook will start to charge it’s users US$1.99 per month to continue using World’s most popular social media platform.
Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained to press why this move is required for the company and its users: “If we don’t do something about our rising costs now, Facebook could face an unrecoverable financial burden and become obsolete.”
Mark Zuckerberg had originally planned on making Facebook a pay service by late 2014, but decided to keep the service free for the holidays, through the Christmas season

Zuckerberg also explained the other incentive, which he believes could benefit the well being of the planet.
“Half the proceeds from the monthly fee will go towards Ebola treatment and research. Obviously the planet is facing an enormous challenge when it come’s to Ebola. We want to do our part and become the leader in fighting this deadly disease before it spreads any further. Our monthly fee will greatly benefit world health.”
Stockholders will also benefit greatly from this decision according to Wall Street analyst Dan Soringer. “Facebook had a total of 1.23 billion users as of mid 2014, with projected growth potentially doubling in the next 5 years. If just 50% of those members pay the new monthly service fee of $2, that will mean an annual influx totalling billions of dollars, even if you factor in the Ebola donation angle. This will be a total game changer as far as company profitibility is concerned.”
If any current facebook user refuse to pay the new monthly Facebook fee US$1.99 will have their account terminated and their content permanently deleted after 30 days.

600-pound woman seeks to add more weight

==Gabi Jones, from Denver, is super-morbidly obese at 620lbs and considers her body a piece of art work, according to a YouTube report.

She who has been gaining weight deliberately, says ‘I don’t know when I’m going to stop but I still want to be able to walk…My body is voluptuous… I think fat is art and I’m a masterpiece in the making.”

Interestingly, she claims that she is aware of the health risks but has no plans of trimming down.

Bizarre as it may seem, Jones is aware that bigger people die younger.

Minimum salary you need to buy a house in #Dubai

==Consider this: An average Indian with an average annual income of $1,503 (Dh5,520) per annum will need to work for a staggering 580 years to be able to afford a flat in central Mumbai. This is according to calculations made by Sanjoy Chakraborty, a US-based academic who studies land issues in India, and we believe it doesn’t take into account the rate of inflation and property price increases, which would have pushed the house prices another 500 years away from their reach.

The good news here is that it will not take you 500 years of average income to buy a house in Dubai or Abu Dhabi even as property prices have grown at world beating rates for the past 18 months.
A report by property research firm Knight Frank published earlier this year shows that the average global house prices reached a new peak in the most recent quarter, surpassing their previous peak in the second quarter of 2008, after which the subprime crisis led to a worldwide decline in property and asset prices.

Dubai housing’s meteoric rise of 28.5 per cent year-on-year is followed by China’s 21.6 per cent and Hong Kong’s 16.1 per cent.

According to PropertyFinder.ae, an online real estate classifieds website, the average price of an apartment in Dubai currently stands at Dh2,720,078 and a villa in the emirate will set you back by an average Dh6,540,723.

Now, most banks in the country offer mortgages at about 70 multiples to your monthly salary, provided you don’t have any other debt (car loans, credit card outstanding, etc.). Also keep in mind that you will need to cough up at least 25 per cent of the property value upfront to be eligible for a mortgage.

Assuming you have a nest egg that will shoulder the 25 per cent down payment along with property registration fees, brokerage and other sundry expenditure, rough back-of-the-envelope calculations, therefore, reveal that you’ll need to earn about Dh30,000 per month to be able to afford an average apartment in Dubai.

But that doesn’t mean that you can’t own one if you don’t earn Dh30,000 – this is what you must earn to be able to afford an average apartment. With apartment prices ranging between Dh361,799 and (hold your breath) Dh130 million (propertyfinder.ae data), the minimum salary one must technically earn to afford the least expensive Dubai apartment is about Dh3,900 per month. However, most banks have a minimum monthly salary requirement of between Dh10,000 and Dh15,000 per month.

On the other hand, if you wish to buy an average Dubai villa, your monthly income will need to be north of Dh70,000. Again, you’ll need to put up the down payment etc. from your kitty, and there shouldn’t be any other outstanding debt.

Saudi men can't marry women from Pakistan, three other countries

==Saudi Arabia has banned its male citizens from marrying women from four countries - Pakistan, Bangladesh, Chad and Myanmar - a police officer said.

The announcement comes as a part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to prohibit Saudi men from marrying expatriates, a subject widely debated in the Gulf nation.
There is an estimated 500,000 women from the four countries, residing in Saudi Arabia.

Mecca Police Director Assaf Al Qurashi said additional formalities have been placed before issuing the permission for marriage with foreigners, Dawnonline reported citing a local daily Wednesday.

Tougher regulations have been introduced for such marriages, that includes, obtaining consent from the authorities and submitting marriage applications through official channels, the report said.

Applicants should be over 25 and attach identification documents signed by the local district mayor as well as all other identity papers, including a copy of his family card.

"If the applicant is already married, he should attach a report from a hospital proving that his wife is either disabled, suffering from a chronic disease or is sterile," Al Qurashi said.

However, no official announcement has been released by the Saudi Arabian government till yet.

The largest oil exporting nation is home to an estimated 9 million expatriate worker, constituting 30 per cent of the total population.

The highly conservative country has been the subject of global condemnation for its bad record in granting equal rights to women in the country.

Facebook To Be Shutdown For A Full Week To Perform Standard Maintenance

National Report> Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO, has announced that the social media giant will experience a week-long shutdown, due to standard maintenance being performed on the site. Starting at midnight PST on January 1, 2015, users will not be able to login to their Facebook accounts for seven full days. Access to Facebook will be restored to the public on January 8, 2015, at midnight PST.
The shutdown includes all media devices as well, meaning those who access the site through their smartphones and tablets will not be able to until the maintenance is finished. Zuckerberg allegedly feels that the most current update issued to the platform fell short of even it’s lowest performance expectations.
Updates made to Facebook within the last couple of years have angered many of the 1,000,000,000+ users to date, and Zuckerberg is aware, having received brutal reviews through both Android and iOS, as well as numerous complaints through the website itself. Most of the more recent updates have cause Facebook to crash, freeze, and
The number one complaint from Facebook users since the last update has been about their news-feeds. Zuckcerberg thought users wanted to only see “Top Stories” when scrolling through their home-screens, yet found out the hard way that users prefer the old-fashioned way of viewing it through “Most Recent Stories”. This alone caused a major uproar for Facebook and Zuckerberg alike, who scrambled to fix what he never should have done in the first place.
This very well may be another case of Zuckerberg fixing what is not broken. The Facebook kingpin has allotted a full week for website maintenance and updates, as to assure he doesn’t make the same mistakes he’s made in the past. He has stated that this time around, he will “dot all of his i’s, and cross all of his t’s”.
Zuckerberg promises what’s to come will be Facebook’s “most pleasurable experience yet”, claiming that after the week passes, he is confident that he will see “an exponential rise in Facebook sign ups, resulting in the highest Facebook membership numbers in history”. For those unaware, the social media leader is currently worth well over $100-billion dollars, and Zuckerberg says that will double in 2015.
